Hi! I’m Eleanor, and I’m joining the LISN Lab as a PhD student from September 2025. I completed both my undergraduate and master’s degrees at Lancaster, earning a first-class BSc in Psychology and a distinction in MSc Research Methods. I’m very interested in investigating the cognitive processes underlying conditioned verbal hallucinations, examining both general and clinical populations. My research employs signal detection tasks, EEG, and computational modelling to advance our understanding of this phenomenon. Outside of research, I enjoy art and completed a Renaissance painting course in Florence last June. Also, during my previous summer job at a theme park and zooquarium, I’ve been able to work with a huge range of things from rollercoasters to meerkats!
