Dr Ryan Horsfall was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the LISN lab from 2019 to 2021. He worked on projects funded by the ESRC and the Bial Foundation, investigating the behavioural correlates, emotional impacts, and neural mechanisms of inner speech through experiments using EEG, fMRI, behavioural paradigms, and eye tracking. After his time at LISN, Ryan became a Teaching Associate at the University of Sheffield and is now a clinical psychologist with the NHS. His research interests include cognitive neuroscience, language, perception, emotional judgments, speech processing, and auditory-verbal hallucinations.
