Hi! My name is Zara. I am currently a second year Biology with Psychology student and I am currently working with the LISN lab as a research assistant. I’m interested in using different techniques (such as MRI, fMRI, EEG, etc) to measure physiological responses to mental processes to help determine how activity in our brains may affect our bodies. Specifically, I am interested in how mental processes can have such extensive effects on our physical well-being and want to learn more about the connection between biology and psychology to potentially allow the development of treatment in the future. Outside of research I enjoy reading Sci-fi and Fantasy books as well as baking and cooking new recipes from all over the world.
